Safety and security film
Security window film for Surrey homes
Thick, clear films that hold broken glass together, helping slow down a break-in and reducing the risk from shattered glass.
What it does
Glass that holds together.
Safety and security films are thicker than solar films and bond to the glass. If the glass breaks, the film holds the pieces in place rather than letting them fall. That makes it harder and slower to get through, and safer if glass is broken by accident. Some security films also include solar control, so one film can do both.

Where it works best
- Ground-floor bi-folds, sliding doors and French doors→
Glass at the back of the house that can't be seen from the road
Low-level glass in children's rooms and playrooms
Glass balustrades and internal glass
Good to know
Security film slows entry down, it doesn't make glass unbreakable. For the best result it's often fitted with an edge-retention system that anchors the film to the frame. We'll explain the options for your doors and windows.
