The glass looks the same. The room feels different.

Modern clear solar films are designed to cut solar heat and glare while staying almost invisible from inside. You keep the view, the daylight and the architecture. The room just becomes somewhere you can sit in the afternoon.

Film sample held against a pane of glass during a home assessment

Specified for your glass, not guessed.

Not every film suits every pane. Modern double glazing, low-E coatings, tinted glass and large structural units all behave differently in the sun, and the wrong film on the wrong glass can put it under thermal stress. So before we recommend anything, we look at your glass properly.

  • The type of glass and whether it is single, double or triple glazed
  • Any coatings already on the glass
  • The size of the panes and how they are framed
  • Which way the glass faces and how much sun it gets
  • What you want to change: heat, glare, fading, privacy or security

Then we show you samples on your own glass and recommend the film that suits it.

Working with us

Before you ask.

Clear solar films are designed to let a lot of daylight through while rejecting solar heat. We'll show you samples on your own glass so you can see the difference before you decide.

Often, yes, but it depends on the glass. Some films are not suitable for some types of double glazing, which is why we check your glass before recommending anything.

Most residential films are fitted to the inside of the glass. Where an exterior film is the better option, we'll explain why.

With clear films, yes. Privacy films are a choice of how much you want to see and be seen, and we'll talk you through the options.

On most double glazing, yes, but not every film suits every unit. Read our guide on window film and double glazing, or book an assessment and we'll check yours.

We cover Surrey and the surrounding Home Counties. If you're not sure, send us a message with your postcode.

Tell us about your glass.

Send us a few details and, if you can, a photo of the glass. We'll come back to you to arrange a visit.
